Introducing the new “Packman Vision” Robotic Cell. A 4-axis vision guided Robot Cell specially made for Food and Pharmaceutical applications.

This is a purpose built food and pharmaceutical Robot Cell incorporating a vision guided 4-axis pick and place robot (using market leaders Elau P4 Robots) and special vision conveyors, which can handle packed or unpacked individual products and place into trays or cartons at speeds of 120/min per Robot.

Pick and Place

4-Axis Elau P4 Robots with speeds up to 120 pick and place cycles/minute

Hi precision robot with position repeatability better than +/- 0.1mm

Stainless Steel construction with unique Stainless Steel Arms – No use of Carbon to reduce the risk of product contamination.

Can handle packed or unpacked products – perfect for food and pharmaceutical.

Range of Grippers suitable for most products (vacuum or mechanical)

Vision System

Software correction facility to compensate for belt tracking errors when picking directly from existing conveyors.

Tracks products and trays so that it can pick while moving and place into moving trays

Easy teach technology makes it simple to team vision system how to recognise new products and to inspect for damaged or non-conforming products.

Control system

Elau control system with integrated drive amps so small and compact control panels.

Product Collation/Conveyors

Special vision conveyors with top lighting or back lighting.

Special tracking system to track product as it moves along.
